RESERVATION POLICIES:

By reserving a place on the course, you are agreeing to pay the full amount of £120 per child for a 3-day course. Until payment has been received, it will be assumed that your child will not be attending. If you are unable to pay online, please email us directly and we can arrange a B.A.C.S or cheque payment.

An early booking is recommended to ensure your place. Payment instalments can be arranged; please contact hello@southlondonmusicdays.co.uk at the time of your booking to ask for a payment plan. Course fees must be received in full, no later than 1 working day before the start of the course, unless you have a payment plan agreement in place.

We can accept cash or card payments on the day of the course subject to availability, but we cannot guarantee places or performance workshops slots if not reserved and paid for in advance.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

If, for whatever reason, your child can no longer attend the course, the cancellation must be given immediately by phone or email. If you have already paid, you can request a refund by sending an email to hello@southlondonmusicdays.co.uk. Do not forget to include your name and PayPal order number found in your confirmation email. Any refunds granted will be paid back to the credit card, debit card, or PayPal account used for the original transaction.

All refund applications must be submitted no later than 1 working day before the start of the course.

Please note that refunds are subject to the number of places available on the course, and cannot always be guaranteed.
For successful refund applications, the following refund entitlements apply:

  • On or before 21 days prior to the course start date: Refund in full, minus £25.00

  • Between 7-20 days prior to the course start date: Refund 50% of full course fee

  • Between 1-6 days prior to the course start date: Refund 25% of full course fee

  • On or after the first day of the course: No refund

MEDICAL CONCERNS:

We have a fully-trained first-aider on site for the full duration of each day, who will be available the unlikely event of any incidents. If your child has any medical issues or allergies that we need to be aware of, we will have Medical & Consent Forms that we require be filled out by the parent/guardian during registration on the first day.

In the event of any minor incident, we will have hypoallergenic plasters, Savlon Bites and Stings Pain Relief Gel, Savlon antiseptic wipes, Calpol, and Paracetamol available on site, providing these have been consented to on the Medical & Consent Form.

photographs, video and audio recordings:

We are proud of our students and their achievements during our courses. Occasionally we may share their performances through audio recordings, video recordings and photography. By your child attending South London Music Days, you give consent on behalf of your child for us to take photographs and make audio and video recordings, and for these to be used in all forms and media, including social sharing and advertising. The images, video or audio may be altered in any manner, and used without approval from the subject(s). Those appearing in photographs or video or audio recordings will not be named, except where appropriate by first name only. All photographs, video, and audio recordings will be stored securely.

If you do not wish to give consent, please contact us directly in advance of the course. At any time, you may request to view any photographs, video and audio recordings that we have of your child.

safeguarding:

South London Music Days is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all its attendees.
Our safeguarding policy applies to all staff, including directors, paid staff, volunteers, agency staff, students, or anyone working on behalf of South London Music Days.

We are responsible for ensuring all necessary checks, including a Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate (DBS), are completed to ensure the safety and legality of all South London Music Days staff, and ongoing support for all staff on all Safeguarding matters.

Our policy includes adopting child protection practices through procedures and a code of conduct for staff and volunteers, and recruiting staff and volunteers safely ensuring all necessary checks are made.

  1. Accepts no responsibility for loss, damage or theft of students personal belongings or instruments.

  2. Reserves the right to refuse admission on the course at our sole discretion.

  3. Reserves the right to alter advertised instructors and course content at any time.

  4. Reserves the right to cancel courses, and/or transfer bookings to rescheduled dates (though students unable to attend rescheduled dates may be entitled to some refund).

  5. Reserves the right to review these terms without prior notice.
