Each day starts and ends at the same time, with drop-off/registration happening between 9:00 - 9:30am. The day ends at 4:00pm, and children will need to be collected promptly as we need to vacate the premises by 4:30pm. We suggest arriving about 5-10 minutes before the end of the day.
On the final day we have a concert starting at 3:00pm, lasting for approximately 1 hour.

Yes! All students need to bring the following with them each day:
Their instrument(s), if applicable
A packed lunch and drink/water bottle
A music stand
A pencil
The building is secured and instruments and other personal possessions can be left on site overnight, though at your own risk.

If you’ve paid a deposit up front when applying, you can pay the balance at any time, but we’d request that you pay it by the day before the course at the latest, though we are able to take card payments on the door as well.

Absolutely! While grade exams are useful to quickly gauge a student’s level, we’re happy to accept anyone who is of the required standard for each course, regardless of whether they’ve taken the exam or not. We’re happy to accept a note from their teacher letting us know their approximate performance standard, or even a video of them playing so we can assess which course is best suited to their level.

Of course! Most of our staff tutors are muli-instrumentalists – we value that skill very highly, and are keen to nurture it as much as possible by encouraging students who play more than one instrument to regularly switch between them and take part in as many ensembles as appropriate.
